90/90 Home Traction

The ECONO 90 Home Care System is a conservative, highly successful method of treating low back pain. The 90/90 position flexes the lumbar curve and rotates the pelvis.
The ECONO 90 has been specifically designed to provide a less expensive, more portable version of 90/90 traction.

The ECONO 90 uses the top of a closed door and a keeper bar to securely anchor the positioning strap. A single-pull pelvic belt and rope pulley system with a locking mechanism are used to apply the lift. The patient's feet rest on the door to form 90 degree angles at the hips and knees.

A unifoam thigh strap is provided for comfort and to prevent external rotation of the hips. As the patient pulls down on a handle, their hips are slightly lifted off the surface. The rope locks into place and the patient can relax in traction as directed by the therapist. The patient may periodically elevate their arms over their head to provide an intermittent force. A simple pull down and away on the rope handle releases the rope to lower hips.
